The results that the boys and girls have been waiting for are out, and agaist their expectations, the board was able to compile a merit list for Class XII as well, using the 30:30:40 formula. Thanks to Covid-19, it’s all smiles in the students’ corner, yet when for the first time all passed Class XII in Panchkula, teachers said it was the saddest day. In the internal assessment used as passing criterion, the schools gave almost full marks to every student at all the centres. Some of the brilliant students were, however, rewarded for a consistent academic career and they were happy to share their views with TOI.Congratulations, little geniuses.Wednesday morning brought to light the pitfalls of living in a town with choked drains.
