Narrating their modus operandi the SP said the gang used to keep a close watch on roadside dhabas.
Whenever they noticed a truck loaded with scrap or iron from other states parked at any dhaba they used to follow it the SP added.
When the truck approached any deserted place the gang used to stop it and drag its driver and cleaner out of the vehicle the SP said.
