The first consignment of Covishield came to Chandigarh on Tuesday. There are 12,000 vials that have been given in the first lot for the health workers here. The director health services, Dr Amandeep Kang said along with the medical superintendent Dr V Nagpal and Dr Paramjeet Singh deputy medical superintendent recieved the first batch of the vaccines. These vaccines will be inoculated from Jan 16 onwards at 8 different sites. Covid-19 vaccination programme will begin from eight centres in the city on January 16.
