Chandigarh on Sunday reported 63 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the infection count to 19,486, according to a medical bulletin.

- 3 deaths, 115 Covid cases reported in Chandigarh
Three Covid-19 related fatalities were reported in the union territory of Chandigarh as 115 fresh positive cases surfaced on Monday.
“The Covid-19 death toll reached 237. The total positive cases stood at 15249,” stated Chandigarh Health Department’s evening bulletin.

Due to a surge in COVID-19 positive cases, the Chandigarh Administration on Wednesday declared 27 more areas as micro-containment zones to contain the spread of infection. With the fresh orders, there are now more than 50 micro-containment zones in the city.
