- Chandigarh: Car nearly rams into showroom, hits pillar
An unusual car mishap happened in the busy Sector 17 market in Chandigarh as a car climbed the footpath and hit a pillar in front of a showroom. The occupants escaped after the mishap, even as crowd had gathered at the spot. CCTV footage shows that the car was parked some distance away from the spot. The three occupants entered the car and suddenly the car picked up speed and climbed the area where cars arent allowed and people walk on foot.
